Kasai is more than just our restaurant’s name. It refers to a celebration with big applause—which is exactly how we want you to feel in our restaurant. From each corner, experience our positive and fun energy.
Welcome to Kasai Japanese Cuisine
Chef Liang began his culinary career a decade ago in Montgomery, Alabama, shortly after moving there from China. As an apprentice, he learned the tricks of the trade from many talented chefs. Then he took his career to the next level when he moved to Charleston, South Carolina—one of our country’s culinary capitals.
After tackling this landmark, Chef Liang moved to Ohio and began running the sushi bar at Montrose’s Mustard Seed Cafe. Four years later in May of 2005, Liang opened Kasai in the heart of Wadsworth.
Chef Liang sums up his dedication to providing you with the best dining experience possible in this statement, “If you don’t come, that’s your mistake. If you don’t come back, that’s my mistake.”
Our Promise to YOU
Chef Leon Liang says with a smile, “Our goal is to be the best of the best.” How does Chef Liang accomplish this goal: by providing you with the best ingredients, flavors, and variety. For example, none of our sauces come from a can. Each one is made exclusively for you with the highest quality and freshest foods.
Additionally, with over 70 kinds of sushi available like California Roll and Spicy Roll, you are sure to find the perfect one for you. Plus, rest assured that you are indulging in healthy cuisine. In fact, the typical serving of 7-9 pieces of sushi generally contains only 350-400 calories*. Check out our menu for all of our delicious dishes.
